A collaborative project on the topic of Peranakan culture. We worked in a group of 5 with people from different design courses and came up with the idea of superstitions on tiles.
This is our final outcome video of the animations and tiles that will be projected onto real actual 6" x 6" tiles on the exhibition day itself. The animation editing and sound designs are done by 2 of my other group mates.
Images above are tiles designed by me, 12 tiles in total and all inspired by Peranakan designs. Made sure these designs are not too over whelming as we need to put the animations inside the centre of the tiles. Animations are the main focus and the tile designs are not to be too jarring to avoid it being too hard to look at.
These card designs done by my other group mate on each card one superstition so that people can learn about it. These cards will be of the same size as the tiles and the arrangement too.
Exhibition will be held on the beginning of school year at NAFA on air gallery.
